Introducing The new Ipod Shuffle

Apple announced their new addition to the ipod line up a few days
back. The latest update comes to the ipod shuffle. The older ipod
shuffles have been replaced with a 4GB capacity product even smaller
in size, small like a door key. Apple claims that it can store up to
1000 songs. The more interesting feature about this product is that
it can actually talk to you the songs and playlist which is very handy
for a product that has no screen. The playlist feature is also new to
it. However, the voice over is a male for mac users and female for
windows users. I dont understand why that is. However we know alex in
mac which reads out everything on the screen for us.

The price saw a hike from $49 to $79. Apart from the
enhancements for the software, the new ipod shuffle also showcased
some hardware changes. In the picture as you can see there are no
controls on the device. They have been moved on to the headset. Well
that a little tricky way to stick you to the use apple in ear
headphones. Or you will have to buy an adapter with controls and then
hook your 3rd party headphones on to it. An adapter will again cause
you $15-20. And dont expect to roll out one. Anyway this is a much
more stylish and interesting device. If you were saving for an ipod,
then its time to buy.
